You have two options …
Pay $150 or Pay $75
Most travelers are aware of the $150 change fee on non-refundable tickets but few are aware of American’s $75 same-day change fee that comes with an unbelieveable 12-hour window.
$150 - Change Anytime
Most American Airlines advance purchase non-refundable US Domestic fares have a $150 change fee. Change can be made anytime before departure.
$75 - Change on Same Day of Travel
American charges $75 to change to a same-day flight and gives you a 12-hour window (request change within 12 hours of new flight).
Request at 1-800-433-7300, airport kiosks, or airport agent.
With that 12-hour window – American’s my choice!

You have two options …
Pay $150 or Pay $50
Most people know about the $150 fee but few are aware of the $50 fee.
$150 Change Fee
Almost all Delta advance purchase non-refundable US Domestic fares can be changed with a $150.00 change fee. You can make this change anytime before departure.
$50 change Fee
Delta also offers a special $50 change fee for same-day changes made three (3) hours or less before scheduled departure. Check it out at Delta.com – Same-Day Travel Changes.
If there are not a lot of reservations on the flight you desire, you may want to wait until three (3) hours before that flight when you can change for only $50.

It would only seem fair for the DOT to make it as easy to comment on good airline service as they do to complain about bad airlne service. To the DOT, the glass is obviously half empty.

Way too many times I hear from travelers who have missed concerts, cruises, tours and special events due to airine delays and/or cancellations.
Regardless of the reason for such delay or cancellation, the airline is not responsible to reimburse you for any expenses (concet tickets, cruise tickets, etc).
